Privacy Policy
Effective September 27, 2026
Legacy Media, LLC, doing business as Legacy Property Media (“Legacy”), provides real estate photography and media services. I’m Ben Sturdivant, its owner. This policy explains how I handle personal information when you visit my website, contact me, or use my services. It also explains how to contact me about your information.
1. Information I collect
Information you provide. My website contact form requests your name, email address, optional phone number, and message. When you arrange services, I may also receive your business or brokerage information, property address, appointment and access instructions, order details, and correspondence. Provide only information needed for your inquiry or project; do not send payment-card details, passwords, or other sensitive information through the contact form.
Project information. Photography, video, floor plans, and other media may include information about a property or identifiable people. Please tell me about privacy concerns before a shoot and remove sensitive documents, access codes, and personal items that should not appear in the media.
Technical information. Website hosting and security providers may process information such as your IP address, browser and device details, requested pages, and access times to deliver the website, maintain security, and diagnose errors.
2. How I use information
I use information to respond to inquiries; prepare quotes and schedule appointments; produce, edit, deliver, and support media; administer orders, payments, and records; protect my website and business from misuse; and meet legal obligations or resolve disputes. Any use of project media for my portfolio or promotion is subject to the applicable agreement, permissions, and third-party rights.
I may use supplied contact details for necessary scheduling, project, billing, and delivery messages. If you receive marketing emails from me, you may unsubscribe using the link in the email or by contacting me. Opting out of marketing does not stop messages needed to fulfill an order. I do not sell or rent your personal information or share client contact information for unrelated third-party marketing.
3. Contact forms and service providers
My contact form uses FormSubmit to forward your submission to my Google Workspace business email. FormSubmit states that it retains form submissions for 30 days. Messages received in my mailbox are subject to my own retention practices described below. FormSubmit uses Google reCAPTCHA to help prevent spam; Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply to that service.
I use third-party providers for website hosting, email, booking and delivery, payment processing, editing, and other work needed to fulfill orders. My booking links open the Spiro order portal. If you choose Titus Pay at Close, its application and financing services are governed by its own terms and privacy notices. These providers may receive information needed to perform their functions, and their own notices describe their processing.
I may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, to protect rights or safety, or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. My providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate.
4. Cookies and external links
The current marketing website does not include an advertising pixel or a Google Analytics tracking script. Hosting, security, spam-prevention, and linked third-party services may use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; blocking them may affect some third-party features. My home-preparation checklist can save your checkmarks in local storage on your device so they remain when you return. These checkmarks are not sent to me. Use the checklist’s Reset checkmarks button or clear your browser’s site data to remove them.
Links to booking, financing, reviews, and other external websites take you to services I do not operate. Review their privacy notices before providing information.
5. Retention and security
I retain personal information as reasonably needed to respond to inquiries, provide services, maintain business and transaction records, meet applicable requirements, and resolve disputes. Retention varies with the information and purpose; it is not limited to the contact-form provider's 30-day archive. Media download availability and hosting periods are described in my Terms and Conditions and the applicable order.
I use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information I handle. The website and contact form use HTTPS, but no transmission, email system, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
6. Your choices and requests
You may contact me to ask about personal information I hold about you, request a correction or deletion, or stop marketing communications. Additional rights may apply depending on your location and applicable law. I may need to verify your identity before responding, and may retain information where needed for legal obligations, transactions, or legitimate recordkeeping. Please do not send identity documents unless I specifically request them through an appropriate channel.
7. Children’s information
My services are intended for adults conducting property or business transactions, not children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through my website, please contact me so I can review and address it.
8. Policy updates and contact
I may update this policy to reflect changes in the website, my practices, or applicable requirements. The effective date identifies the current version. Where required, I will provide additional notice or obtain consent for material changes.
